Cost guide
How much does an MRI cost in China?
The price of an MRI scan in China is not one number. It depends on the body area, on whether contrast is used, and on the hospital and department. This page explains each part, and how to get your exact price in writing.
The short answer
To be confirmed: price range for a single-area MRI, with currency, date and source (our own quotes or a published hospital fee schedule)
Until we can publish a figure with its source, the reliable way to know the cost of your MRI in China is a written quote for your exam at a named hospital.
What the price of an MRI in China is made of
- The hospital's fee for the exam. Set by the hospital, per body area.
- Contrast, if it is used. The doctor decides whether your exam needs it.
- Our service fee. For arranging the appointment and translating the report. To be confirmed: service fee amount
Travel, accommodation and any follow-up care are separate and are not part of a scan quote.
